Hey! I got a pay as you go O2 SIM recently in the UK and all was working fine. I have just arrived in Spain and my data and roaming is working but I can't make any calls and every time I sent a text it says I can't sent them - error 50. As I am in Spain for a while I cannot access a shop and cannot call for support, however I really need a working phone. I have turned off and on, played about in the settings with no luck, but all online advice says to contact provider. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

Some things to try:
1 - Reboot phone.
2 - Manually search for a different network
3 - Check with O2 for any roaming bars.
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

In addition to the checks above, once you can make calls, check that your SMS Service Center number is set correctly for PAYG, with the leading +44 as shown in the guide here, @molly14 - Guide: Text Message Tips (not sent or received)
