Bolt on charges. ..

Why is it, when I pay £10 a month for 5 gigs of data plus 1000 minutes and texts, etc., that to have just 3 gigs of extra data the cost is £12? Why would the bolt on be so expensive in comparison?

I've often thought the same. Ridiculous price for a bolt on. They probably want you to take out a more costly tariff with more data. (which actually makes more sense in the long run?)
