Boostbox terrible signal at home

Anonymous

Afternoon, I have terrible mobile 3g voice signal at home and wonder if anyone knows if the O2 boostbox is available for consumers as yet? Or if there is an alternative product on the market that will work.

Thanks

I can only go on my own experience with Sure Signal when I had it and it was very good. I had no issues with it once I had solved a conflict with IP addresses.

I was offered a FemToCel box when I was briefly switched to Vodafone. It cost around £50 at the time although I felt principally it was wrong as I would lose a LAN port in order to gain a signal at home.

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra

I've been using TUGo, but it echo's really badly so I've disabled it again.

Goto Settings >Mobile Data >Network Mode and if available, select GSM Only.

There are a number of apps on Play that will give you a widget or shortcut to make it easier to switch between network modes. Have a look and try a few to see if you find one that suits you https://play.google.com/store/search?q=3g%20toggle&c=apps&hl=en
