Issue with Blackberry text messages

I have a Blackberry 9300 on which the scroll button has stopped working on the text message menu.  It is scrolling up and down normally in the contacts screen so suspect I have done something to the text message functionality?  It will only show the 4 messages on screen and will not scroll up or down.  Any thoughts appreciated - tried my manual and the Blackberry support site but cannot solve the issue.

Hi,

Did you get the phone wet at all?

Does the trackpad work in applications like the browser, scrolling up and down emails, BBM, etc?

When you are in your text messages, does pressing the spacebar allow you to scroll down the messages?

Have now solved the issue the 'old fashioned' way - removed the battery when the phone was on and forced a reset!

I was actually going to suggest you try a battery pull but I assumed you'd have tried that already because a battery pull (as jonsie correctly states above) solves everything "blackberry" haha!

Glad you've got it all sorted now!
