VPN usage and O2 Travel Bolt On

Hi,

I live in the UK and activated the O2 Travel Bolt On (Zone 2)) so I could use my mobile abroad recently, incurring the £6 daily charges. I have returned to the UK now but I regularly use a VPN (non-UK IP) on my mobile.

Could using the VPN trigger Travel Bolt On charges even though I am in the UK? I would guess not, but just want to be sure before I switch the VPN on.

Thanks,

Chris.

No, as the charge is triggered by your Sim been registered on the foreign network, so using a VPN will not trigger anything.
