Unless you really need an esim it really isn't worth it.
If you need one best option is to call instore with photo ID.
If you call customer service they will order one up for you, but your current sim will be disconnected and you will have to wait until the replacement sim is delivered to you - although you might be able to install it via your MyO2 once it is ordered if you add a second phone number into your MyO2 (a family member or good friend) so you can receive the OTP to that number when your SIM is deactivated by O2... Come upgrade time, you will find it much easier if your main network, especially O2, is serviced with a regular, plastic, nano-SIM. Good luck!
