How can I close my acccount as I have not used it. When I opened an Broadband account with Virgin they misled me and I also ended up with O2 account and having to pay £6 monthly. I do not use this account but still pay for it. I was thinking of canceling my direct debit.

Don't cancel DD until you have cancelled contract, which could also impact the price you pay to Virgin, as it is a discounted rate based on both contracts.
