Looks like VMo2 are investing again in the network which to be honest at times is pants... Think it needs more then £700million quid spent on it...

Saw it on ISPreview. I wonder if it will be a effective as £1million a day spent on improving Customer Services?

I douby very much that we will see a vast improvement on an ailing network
Although @adamtemp64 did report on another thread that his area has been upgraded to 5G

To be fair we have 5G SA at home and near work, and going to do some live testing when I go to the office tomorrow, so will see what its likes.
What I have noticed is that a lot of EV Charging hubs seem to have brilliant coverage on o2 (a lot have fast 5G and even 5G SA )

The question is not just is it SA or NSA but how it is implemented. The nearst 5G to me shows up as 700MHZ and runs slower than Vodafone's 4G in the same location

I know how it's implemented but here in Sheffield it's not bad
It's not that bad, this is at Ionity Sheffield using 5G NSA where as before it was poop

This is the ISP Review take on the news :-
Virgin Media O2 Invest £700m into UK 4G and 5G Mobile Upgrades for 2025 - ISPreview UK
It is long overdue. 👍
