ive lived in Ryde now 18 months, just before xmas 2017,i upgraded my phone everything fine.since June ive been dogged by poor reception ,and a mysterious gurgling voice which everybody says i sound like.tried everything in the book to solve it,even a new sim but no still the same. Was told mast was faulty, then it was fixed, guess what it still sounds the same.now there is scaffolding going up behind the commodore cinema in Ryde, where all the masts reside.are we going to have them repaired or are they taking them down.its got that bad,i now have a second hand phone with an EE sim,and its perfect.still got to pay until my contract runs out, which i think is bad i am not getting my service properly!!.sorry O2,but if you cant repair this quickly i will be going elsewhere.any info would be most helpful.

You'll get no info from O2 unfortunately but it does sound as though some maintenance is going on currently.
You can check the status pages for any info they are willing to share.

Hi @rydeman
Have you checked your network status here https://status.o2.co.uk/?
You could always report it through the network app https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network
Also you may want to make a complaint as you are paying for a service you aren't getting

If you are currently getting 4G, have you tried switching to 2/3G?

Then it's definitely a local network problem. All you can do is keep reporting it through the My Network app and make a complaint.
