Hey 02. When I asked you not to send me any emails and texts, what I meant was; Don't send me any emails and texts.

I wasn't asking you not to paint my car pink, or post kippers through my letterbox. I was asking you not to send me any emails or texts.

So which moron though this was a good idea to send me by text:

"Did you know you get lots of extras just for being an O2 customer? Because you asked us to stop sending you emails and texts, we weren't able to let you know about them".

Hey, guess what? That was the point.

Now, here's what you need to do.

STOP SENDING ME TEXTS.

If you need that expalined, let me know. Just don't do it by text.

Hi

We are all customers here so your going to have to re contact customer services or private message one of the O2 site staff here @Toby @Anonymous who I'm sure will try to help.

It does seem silly that after successfully stopping text alerts etc they then further contact you in this way. 😒

These 'morons' just like you are trying to earn a living with probably families to feed. OK you have asked for them to be stopped but it takes a while for the systems to update.

In the meantime a little tolerance and just delete the texts. Your preferences will be updated eventually.

To be fair, it should not be possible to send emails and texts once the account has been marked.

This is yet another example of how O2 systems and procedures are flawed and goes with the flawed links in their website and the flaws that occasionally occur in their apps.

The indications are that this is a company on the slide with poor management control in evidence within their operations depts.

Hi hgfjhgfjhgfj,
I'll just call you h for short.
You see h, sometimes people don't mean to opt out and are always given that text just incase. It only happens once, just incase you changed you mind.

It's a little teaser to persuade you back in wink
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

I find the use of the word "cretin" in the title of this thread offensive and have reported accordingly.

Me too, hence my reply.  Sad people feel the need to vent in such manner!

Rule one to receive good customer service, always remember they are there to help you, not put up with abuse.
