Unable to make international calls from the UK

I have tried the following 

removed cap 

ensured my phone settings allow international calls 

spoke to various o2 representatives 

can anyone assist

Conveniently in the App it's under install my SIM!

also had my network settings reset 

still unable to make calls, it just cancels 

any ideas

@BigD Make sure you have the correct country code prefixes for the numbers in the countries you want to call.

Also, if you download WhatsApp you can call anyone in most countries over a Wi-Fi connection if they also have the app for free. You can text and video call for free too!

Do you still have the problem if you turn off wifi and 4G calling?

What happens when you try and make a call? does it just drop or give an automated message at all?
