After 24 years with Virgin mobile, Virgin themselves have moved me to O2. However there was a problem and 24 hour delay with porting causing me huge issues during a time of family bereavement. I was told I was due compensation for the inconvenience and have just received this:
Hi it is O2 we are sorry you had problems when you switched your mobile service. £1.00 compensation will be credited to your account within 30 days.
Sorry O2, but that is laughable, you’re going to need to do better than that! I would think it cost you more than £1 to send the text!

It would have been to the nearest £ for losing 1 day out of your 30 day tariff.
Problems do occur occasionally when you are trying to move over 3 million accounts
If you are not happy then under the terms and conditions of the move you are free to leave
