Pie Update to S8+

Just updated my S8+ to Pie, just before I receive my new S10+. 

I could have left it as I'm getting a new phone anyway but wanted to see what Pie was all about.

Like the look of it and it's speeded up this knackered phone no end.

Getting used to a slightly different keyboard and the different headings in settings.

So far, I like what I see and look forward to using it on my new phone. 

I believe someone recently asked about Pie on the S8 or S8+. Well hopefully, he'll read my post and know it's ready and coming through now

Neither @Cleoriff. i haven't decided what I'm going to do with the phone. Probably sell it to CEX. I'm not risking O2 Recycle. I was lucky once I don't think I'll get lucky again.

I only downloaded Pie out of pure curiosity. Wanted to see what the differences are, and there are quite a few.7

As said I only updated to get a feel for Pie, which will be on my new phone. But I do recall someone asking when the S8+ was getting Pie so thought I would let him know it's now!

The update came through to my phone from, I assume, Google. I had a message to switch on my wifi as there was a software update. I switched to wifi was asked if I wanted to download the update now. I said yes and it was downloaded. 

As I said I'd ordered the S10+ so didn't really need to download the update but I wanted a feel for Pie prior to getting the S10+. Which is why I downloaded the update.

Probably a silly question but have you checked on your phone, to see if there's a software update available?

It could be region linked. I'm in London, so could be Londoners got it first and its doing the rounds, region by region. Don't know what else to suggest. Hope you get it soon.
