Hi
I went to an O2 shop today because I would like to switch to O2 from another provider. I have an eSIM from another country, so I do not use my UK SIM that often, that's why I would like to stick to a pay as you go SIM that I can just top up whenever I need it and not need to pay a given amount every month.
In the shop, I was told that there was no pay as you go option (despite the website offering them) and that I would have to pay a minimum of 10 £ per month.
Is this true? Is the pay as you go SIM more of an "pay £10 a month"- SIM?
Thank you for your help.

If you want to use it you have to top up with a bundle that lasts for 30 days.
After that it will sit dormant until topped up again.
A top up once every 6 months is required to keep it active.

And there is a £5.00 per month option @s1477 :-

As per the link I already posted which also explains that there is no date with that option.
