Order for new phone not showing up in 'My Orders' tracking

I placed an order for a Desire S yesterday, the order went through but I can't find any record of it on my order page in the Track service. Could this be something to do with the bank holiday weekend? Has it not been processed yet?

I did exactly the same yesterday and it showed up after about 8 hours, but still shows that it is waiting for collection when it's meant to be delivered today. 😞

I ordered mine around 8 last night so I'm thinking it won't be processed properly yet, I keep logging on to check if it's up though...

Doesn't look like it's coming today. 😞
Had a chat with one of the live chat people who said the only thing I could do was ring DHL, might have been nice for them to have done that for me, but when I rang the number he gave me they were shut.
I presume I'm looking at next week now, bit disappointing really as a new customer to get a next day delivery slot for it then not to turn up for a week. 😞

Didn't you realise that today and Monday are holidays? Next day means next working day. If it's awaiting collection the border may have been placed too late for that days collections, so it will likely be collected on Tuesday and delivered Wednesday. They can hardly deliver when no-ones there. wink

No, I was offered the 29th as my delivery date, it even states that in the "My O2" Account information.
If they knew they weren't going to deliver on the 29th then they shouldn't have offered it, they should have offered next Tuesday then I wouldn't have sat in all day waiting for it.
Also, why didn't the representative on the Live Chat not say, "Sorry but there isn't going to be any deliveries today" if they already knew that?
As I said, not a very good 1st impression for a new customer.

As today is a non-standard bank holiday it wouldn't surprise me if nobody told the computer systems about it grin

I also ordered a Desire S on Thurday 28th april early in the morning, i recieved an email stating it had been dispatched around 17:00 on the the same day. i was aware of the bank holiday problems yesterday and therefore wasnt expecting delivery till today.
Was wondering have either of you revieved your phones yet?

I haven't, my order status now shows as being dispatched today with the Courier set as N/A.
I'm presuming that I'm not going to be seeing it until Wednesday at the very earliest. I just hope that I'm not charged anything for the contract until I receive my Phone as it's showing that I have pro-Rata Mins and Data to use up until tomorrow when my billing date is.

If you are seeing minutes available then you will be billed for them. If you give CS a call once you have your phone, they will see on the system when it became live and can add an appropriate credit for the time you've been waiting.
