O2 will have to watch it, there are others waiting in the wings

O2 need a massive injection of cash to get out of the big hole they have dug for themselves
on 25-01-2024 21:25
I'm sure the annual price rise **** take will take care of that.

I see the papers and the BBC has taken this up.
Whatever we think about these"league tables" it's not good publicity. A few more like that and it will cost them dearly.
No doubt the press will make something of next months price hike being higher than other companies.

O2 almost seem to be creating a "Gerald Ratner moment" ; a point at which poor service and a lack of reliability and adverse media coverage could lead to a big loss of customers.

Shaming them is one thing, they need to do 'something' to make them improve. Tesco have just renewed with them for another 10 years so in O2's eyes they can't be that bad...

The only way things will change is not based around consumers, it is around the big enterprise accounts, who pay in excess of £100K per year to o2, and o2 aren't losing any big accounts, they seem to keep them, or get more of them..
If this was to change then o2 would need to change something..

Every few years we get a story like this and nothing changes. I suspect it will be the same this time around.
