Solved: Re: Not receiving texts

Hi is anyone else experiencing problems with receiving text messages. I can send them (and I know they are being received) but haven't been able to receive any myself since yesterday evening? If no issues with O2, does anyone have any suggestions to fix the problem, I have done the usual remove battery, sim and restored to factory settings etc but to no avail.

Thanks everyone, I've tried all the normal stuff and everything that people have suggested so will sort a new sim and hopefully that will solve the issue. Just odd as I can do everything except receive messages.

Have you put your postcode in here to see if any problems http://status.o2.co.uk if no problems I would suggest you get a new sim

Have you tried rebooting your phone?

Try cleaning your SIM card and sim holder with a cloth if not I would try a new sim from an O2 store or they can send you one

That does happen sometimes with a dodgy sim hope it all works out ok for you
