If all the AI is doing is intercepting reported scam numbers, then yes it's a good idea. No doubt the scammers will find ways to detect they're talking to AI. They always seem to be one step ahead of the game, so the AI is going to have to keep adapting as it develops. Hopefully it can do that.

What we now need is an AI program that detects when Customer Service Agents are lying through their back teeth.
