Accessing Mobile Broadband link to top up mobile broadband SIM

Anonymous
Not applicable

I tried to top up my mobile SIM card but when I try to log in using the mobile number it asks for a valid O2 MBB number

I know I am using the right number and I also got ther SIM re-activated (supposedly) at Christmas time but wondering if the SIM has become disabled and is now unusable as it isn't used much

Can someone advise if the mobile broadband SIM card has been deactivated and require a new SIM or if there is a problem elsewhere.  I normally use wi-fi at home but is always useful to have mobile broadband in the event I am outside a wi-fi hotspot

Many thanks

It is possible that thye number has been deactivated if there has been no usage in the last 6 months. Perhaps a quick call to customer service would be advisable or you could try the chat link below.

Just contacted O2 via web chat and was told the number had disconnected even though this should have been reconnected at Christmas.  Told it should only take 4 hours to reconnect so will give it a whirl later this evening or tomorrow so will update this post then

Many thanks for your response
