It's different for each area ... I've been waiting months and got no aswer from customer service or in the O2 shop but yesterday they said 6-8 weeks for my city.

I would try ur local o2 shop or customer service to see if they have a eta on it or @Toby might be able to help

They are still rolling out 4G but where they strike next come under the official secrets act. I'm not sure anyone at O2 knows, much less anyone on here.

It won't really happen for a year, so after my contract expires I have a couple of choices. Vodafone, 3, T-Mobile/Orange/Virgin umbrella. And with BT coming back into the mobile game who knows what the future holds.

MVNO's may be a thing of the past soon.

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra

Virgin Mobile is a MVNO. Tesco Mobile is a MVNO. I doubt that either is going to go away soon, although Virgin will have more problems, as they piggyback on EE, which is now owned by BT and in direct competition with Virgin in other areas. It's possible that Virgin will have to look for a new partner. Tesco seems likely to try to stay with Three, I would think. And then there's GiffGaff....
