usb c to micro charger sent

I upgraded my phone and received a usbc to micro wire instead of micro to usb wire, the usb c is useless to me unless I have to buy an adapter for it to work. can I send this back to 02 and get a micro to usb wire instead as I cannot charge my new device with the wire they sent without spending out money on an adapter.

It's what Apple now supply so it cannot be changed by O2.

You can use your old iphone charger and lead or buy a USB-C charging plug.

looks like i am going to have to buy an adapter plug as my old phone I was selling including charger with it as the buyer would not have a charger otherwise.
