iPhone 7 (128gb, black) stock issues??

Anonymous

Hi

Just a quick question

Does anyone know if o2 are still having delays getting hold of iPhone 7's (128gb black)? as I order one online yesterday for my upgrade (it said the device was in stock) and was due for delivery today but now I received a text last night to say my order has been delayed due to issues with stock.

I cant get hold of anyone at o2 to check the status of my order and the details online don't really tell you very much

Thanks

There have been many issues with stock. We here have no way to check so you need to call customer service.

And here we see o2 discrimination against Refresh customers again. You are allowed to order a normal upgrade online? Next day delivery? And the Refresh customers have been waiting since 25 September for theirs which they were only allowed to order in person in store! And still no word about when they will supply these orders. It is just outrageous! Outrageous! It is still mind boggling who at o2 made this decision to sell these contracts and then ignore them. If I had any energy left to spend on this miserable company I would enquire about all this from ofcom but for my sanity I have decided not to contact this company again and the phone might actually be in my hand possibly before iPhone 8 is released.

You are allowed to order....but they have no stock and ordering for next day delivery will probably turn into weeks. Let's see how soon the OP gets the phone....

If you do a search on here for in stock then you will see lots of threads where this is the case.
o2 do not have a live stock system - ie, when you are ordering something it does not actually know if they have any. It is only when the order is processed that the out of stock issue becomes apparent.
There is no discrimination as far as we know - o2 will deal with orders in the sequence that they are received (you would hope...) so your order @jtuk will be processed before @Anonymous.
In terms of giving updates, this community is (by and large) staffed only by other o2 customers. As such we have no access to accounts, orders or customer details. Basically you need to persevere with calling them @Anonymous.

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

Link to our guide on how to contact them can be found here

@jtuk there were issues with certain handsets

I upgraded to the 7 128gb matte black from my iphone 6s refresh upgrade on us deal in store on the 28th and walked out with my handset on the 20 gb upgrade on us tariff. but I understand  it was plus models and jet black that were the biggest issues.
