I recently moved over from 3 and purchased an iPhone 5s. I have recently noticed that the 4g signal is not as stable as I thought it would be and occasionally the phone switches to GPRS.
The reality is that this is fairly common, esp if you are on the fringe of 4G coverage.

Wifi at home has no bearing on 2g 3g or 4g issues on an iphone hardware issue.
Have you checked the status and predicted 4g levels in the areas you are experiancing issues on the links already given?
Is it dropping to gprs when you get a call? (if so this is what happens as 4g is data only)
