No mobile signal in monmouthshire area

Anonymous
Not applicable
Since we have experienced the spell of bad weather I cannot receive any mobile signal whatsoever at my home address but can at my nearest town, some 8 miles away. The coverage checker tells me I should be getting service and there are no problems in my area. Anybody else experiencing the same problems?
It's frustrating for me as I run a freelance business from home on my mobile and no one can contact me.

Some "spell", I'm amazed if many in South Wales still have a signal at all.

You could ring O2 to check as a fault might not show up in the status page if they're not aware of it.

I've been to Monmouth once back in Oct 2012, it was like entering a black hole for O2 network coverage.
