New phone from Apple with sim only plan

Hi

My o2 contract has just finished (iphone XR 36 months) and I’ve moved over to a new sim only plan (12 months) so I still have data and it’s a better price.

I have bought a new iPhone 14 directly from the Apple site. Should I just be able to put my current sim in my new phone when it arrives and it should work fine or will I need to change numbers and things?

Sorry if this is a dumb question I just can’t find a clear answer on either the o2 site or Apple site.

Just put your SIM in the new phone. No need to change anything O2 wise
