..this is baffling. Was checking voicemail on my iPhone 4. Don't know if I pressed a wrong button or something, but my partner received what looks like an automated text reading something like 'I can't talk now but will see you later' from my phone. I didn't write the message and iPhone has no template texts that I could have sent in error. The message she received was from my phone for sure, but I did not compose or send it!! Anybody any ideas what is going on??

When you decline an incoming call in iOS6, you now have the option to set a callback reminder or quickly reply to the call with an SMS.
These messages are customizable though, you can set three different quick reply messages that can be sent when you decline a call. However you cant change the "Can't talk right now" prefix message sadly. You can find them in "Settings", "Phone", "Call Waiting" (I think from memory!)
Had your partner called you while you were checking Voicemail and you mistakenly rejected the call? I'm not sure if these options are available to use as a response when listening to Voicemail though

On my S3 there is an option to reject calls with a templated message and I'm sure the iphone has that facility since iOS6. Have a read of this:
