Hi all,
My Iphone 4s is just over a year old so out of warrenty now with Apple and its now has a fault. Basically everytime I make a call i'll be lucky if it lasts 2 minutes before it cuts out and loses signal. I have insurance with o2 which funny enough doesn't cover faults, which I find a bit pathetic but hey ho thats the way it is.
Does anyone here know if I take it in to apple, will they repair or replace it and how much it would cost?
I'm new to all of this so not sure on the process.
Thanks for you help

It can depend on the genius or manager !
Ive known them swap it out if a little out of the 12 months.
Did you buy your iPhone from the Apple Store ?
However asking to swap it out for the next model up, even if you offer some cash wont happen in my opinion.

Nah I got everything through O2, does that make a difference at all? Wishful thinking from me hoping for an Iphone 4

No I just was wondering where you purchased it from.
If they swap it out free then you could sell it to raise funds for the iphone 5.
Shops such as CEX are an idea.
Just to add.
Ensure it is your iPhone at fault and not the sim card.
Take it out and wipe it.
Get it exchanged at an o2 store via a swapmysim.

Good idea that! I'm just hoping I don't have to pay too much for a replacement....once thats sorted the first thing i'm doing is cancelling my insurance!
Whose insurance do you have ?
Remember you would no longer be covered at all.
These fones are £400 + to buy sim free.
If you do cancel then see if any household or bank account has applicable mobile phone insurance.
Or your taking a risk.

O2's insurance, which I was told at the time would cover everything but to be honest the o2 shop gave me a load of info that I later found out to be false! Including extra charges which I was unaware of at the time but thats another matter.
