I'm travelling to turkey tomorrow how do I avoid charges x

@Anonymous hello. You haven't said if your on contract or PAYG?

if your on contract and have o2'travel on your account, you will be charged £3.99 per day on the days you use it, midnight to midnight local time.

your £3.99 will include 120 mins per day and 120 SMS and data which is very slow.

there is no such benefit on PAYG and you pay full rates.

If you want to avoid any charges then place the phone in flight mode and dont use it.

If not a local sim might be a good option but it depends on how you want to use your phone?
