Hello I purchased a charger cable once again and it’s stopped working. I am sick and tired of buying them and they won’t work after awhile. There not cheap and I can’t afford another one. Can you please send me a replacement ASAP. Thank you Amanda

@Enlli I too buy 3 to 4 lightning cables (non Apple) every year, and throw out at least 4 per year. I use usb-c and micro- USB and they have not failed. I read an engineer describe micro-usb as very reliable.

My experience leads me to believe that the Apple circuit deteriorates to make connection fail, or data drops so the backup fails. I also find that a failed cable may work if allowed to rest for a few days. I treat my tech well and I don't see any external damage to these cables.

I was horrified to hear that Apple will be modifying the usb-c to their specifications, that won't be good. I love ios and the phone technology but whatever they specify for lightning is brittle and too fragile for its purpose.

Unfortunately it doesn't matter who makes them, its the circuit that is the weakest link.

Fluff in the power receptacle on the phone is an important factor, as is the orientation of the cable as it goes into the phone. At times, the charger can be at fault, Amazon sell a charger made by Juice which has been good for the various Android (USB-C) phones here - not as familiar with Apple cables or chargers, so do search around Google to see which cables or chargers cme out tops before buying - good advice from all on here 👍
