I ordered a GPS & Cellular Apple Watch online and connected it to my phone account but it has come and it is saying mobile data is not available. I have tried updating my phone and then re-pairing the watch to the phone but it doesn’t work. It says ‘your o2 account is not eligible to enable mobile data. Please contact o2 for more information.’ Unfortunately, I can’t get through to o2 at all at the moment as they are on skeleton staff so I’m completely stuck. Can anyone help?

See if this workaround helps

If not you need to contact O2 via the various numbers in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

They open at 8am.

You must also have a consumer pay monthly account.

Business accounts and PAYG won't work.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Thanks - I do have a consumer pay monthly account for my phone & now for the watch (not business). I did get this message from o2 - ‘We've connected your Apple Watch Airtime Plan. If you have any questions or need help visit www.o2.co.uk/watch-help’ but it’s just not working.
