I requested to keep my old phone number, phoned with my pac code,i received a verifcation code,what am i supposed to do with that,i have removed old sim,started using new sim,i presume within 24 hrs it will be all done,or am i supposed to keep old sim in until there is no service,can anyone tell me,thanks

Keep using your old sim until it switches off. Once this happens put your o2 sim in your phone and reboot it every half hour until you get a signal on it.
After the initial connection it can take up to 24 hours for all services to come online, so you may only be able to receive calls and texts but not send at first etc.
