mobile network state

It says disconnected and I have tried everything I know, switching off phone airplane mode different sims, phone is a Samsung galaxy alpha so it's unlocked help me

If you're on about the bit in settings-about device-sim status. ..
Then it refers to wether the mobile data is turned on and active or not.
To change it to "connected" turn off wifi.
(Then turn it back on as it's obviously pointless turning it off )

It's a pay and go sim heath cliff thanks, all settings are set properly it's a new phone

It's a 3 phone but 3 unlock there phones, it says O2 available network, when I click I says unable to connect try later
