I was super excited as I pulled out my new Xperia 1ii out of the box, so excited, it slipped from my hand and landed about a meter onto hard laminate flooring.
As you can imagine, I cried a bit and fearfully checked for damage...
I think it is a glass screen protector over the screen right,? Please put me right on this. Anyway, there is a 'spider leg' like crack starting on the bottom corner. Not huge, but quite obvious.
I am looking for advice dearest O2 aficionados . Do I try plead with O2(after all I hadn't even had the chance to holster it) insure it, pay the excess etc, buy the screen?? I'm gutted to say the very least and it is seriously detracting from my enjoyment of what should be THE best phone... HELP PLEASE,!

@Xperia12

I feel your pain, once did that with a pre release phone 😞

If you dropped it on the floor, then your only option is to claim on insurance, check your Home Contents insurance.

The screen protectors are always vulnerable in the corners, and thats where glass is at its greatest risk.

other than that have a look at a company called i smash it  (i thik they are called) and pay for a repair.

edited to put name of company
