S6 5.1.1 update

Took delivery of my S6 (non edge) today - and it has done a software update which completed successfully. Looking on sam mobile I see there is a 5.1.1 update for O2 - but android version is still showing as 5.0.2 - will the update appear over the next few days?

O2 firmware for the s6 and edge is all messed up - look at the release dates for 5.1.1 compared to 5.0 2 !
5.0.2 is actually a later release - go figure ??

Oh yes - didn't check the release dates, just the version - have they rolled it back then for some reason?

It appears so - no other reason to update and re-release 5.02

Only OTA updates too. Neither available via Kies so it seems like they are targeting specific serial numbers only.

Yes I tried OTA and via smart switch after the initial update (back to 5.0.2!) and no luck getting the 5.1.1 - just have to wait and see what happens i suppose.

Could be the camera sensor being the difference,
With 511 I believe a camera firmware update is included and maybe the IMX was ready before the isocell or visa versa.

Just got Samsung galaxy s6 today, it's amazing! I'm still on 5.0.2 of android, tried checking for updates on ota and nothing at the moment

I haven't had a single android update yet but my software version is 5.0.2
