Phone calls cut out

My phone calls almost always cut out mid conversation?! Regardless of where I am after about 30 seconds? Is this a network or phone issue?

Sounds like a phone or a sim issue, I would start by getting a new sim, the best way is to pop into an o2 store with Photo ID and get a new sim.
