Will O2 give it's Note 4 customers some idea about the time frame to expect the update to 5.1.1? This update is way overdue...

At present 5.1.1 is only currently available for the Note 4's on the Vodaphone network . O2 have no recent info as to when they will be getting it (if at all)  @Chris_K is the man in the know..

O2 do not have it from Sammy yet, so no, you will not get a time scale for release.

That will be O2's decision though, not Sammy.

Sammy have released it but O2 don't appear to want it.

Hi guys,

As @Bambino points out on his link...

"As best we can tell this does appear to be the case, and we're unable to comment on why Voda have the update - it could be down to a number of things.

We have no further details around 5.1.1 and have not had any such update for testing... It may come, it may skip directly to Marshmallow. Either way whenever I know more i'll update everyone.

PS. Same goes for A3/A5/Alpha/Note 3 etc."

So stayed tunned for more updates
