I have an A54 5G and it does everything that I want ; that A56 5G should be a decent investment for those looking for a good handset that doesn't break the bank. 👍

The Motorola G range is better value for money, and Samsung nowadays support wise are getting worse, they have lots of devices still on Android 14 whereas most other OEM's are now on Android 15 and 16 is around the corner...

We stopped buying cheap Samsungs at work, as not worth the money, sorry to say...

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

I've had all the A range starting with the A51 and currently using the A55

Never had a moment's problem with any of them

I would never consider getting a Motorola to be honest as I just dislike them

Samsung for me every time and in fact I beg to differ about the support

Support has definitely improved over the last 2 years. Yes the A range is down the queue for OS updates but that's the nature of the beast when they stock a vast range of phones unlike Motorola who will be able to get their limited range of phones updated sooner.

Security updates on the other hand come in on a timely and regular basis which is why I say support has improved.

And to be honest there are probably few differences between 14 and 15 that I would notice or use

All a matter of preferences in the end

It wouldn't do if we all felt the same. For me there is little wrong with the A range and I find them value for money. Just as nearly half of the population use iphones and wouldn't buy anything else, I'm a Samsung fanboi don't see myself using or buying anything else. I've had many of the S range, most of the Note range and many A range without issues and find they met/meet all my needs

I broke with Samsung last year as I thought I would try the Pixel Pro.

Since doing so I must admit I like this phone and there have been a couple of nice upgrades on the last drop

However, I still have my S23 Plus and we shall see what improvements they have made with the introduction of the new UI with Android 15

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Motorola have a reputation @madasaf1sh for being patchy with software updates on consumer 'phones. Do you have any experience of that and is it a fair reservation ?
