If it's just texts, check if anything in this guide helps:

If neither works then your sim might be faulty, or need activating.
Check if calls work in another phone - if they do, it's a phone issue.
If they don't, try another sim in your phone - that should rule out a sim issue.
Failing that, get in touch with customer services by calling 202 or 0344 809 202.
