Since upgrading my phone to an iPhone 16 Pro Max, I can only receive and send iMessages and use FaceTime under my email address linked to my Apple ID. Have gone into Apps, Messages, iMessage is on but on the Send & Receive it will only work on my email address. Activation unsuccessful on my number?? Any ideas??

Always worth trying a network reset first and check what number is in Settings >Apps >Phone >My number
