Texts fail to send

Text messages fail to send to certain people on my phone. Can't spot a pattern. It has been like this since I first got my phone in the summer.

I receive texts fine, but when I sent them, an orange circle 🟠 appears, and then when I click that, it's says couldnt send message. It doesn't ever appear to resend. Have had an occaison where the message did send but it didn't look like that from my side.

I have checked the message centre number, turned my phone on and off, and tried to connect onto a different network provider, all multiple times now.

On a monthly contract.

So frustrating. Any ideas? Thanks

Are these people on a specific network ? and did you do a number port at all?

Not sure about the networks of people... I did port my number from EE.
