My SIM card is not working, I have tried taking out and restarting phone. I have no service etc.

Have you tried your SIM in a different 'phone ; or a different SIM, maybe from another network, in your 'phone ? That will help to narrow down whether it is a SIM issue, a handset problem or a network matter.
If you need a new SIM, a visit to your local O2 retail store, with photographic ID, is the easiest way to do a SIM swap :-
