Really hope someone can help me with this. My physical SIM always worked fine everywhere in Europe. But when I swapped to an eSIM it just doesn’t seem to get me access to 4G or 5G outside the UK.
I’m on a pay monthly SIM only deal on an iPhone XR. And yes, I’ve tried turning it on and off again etc. multiple times!
thanks in advance

These are some tips to try :
Reboot phone.
Manually search for a different network
If using an iPhone, change data APN to mobile.o2.co.uk
Call customer service to check for any roaming bars
Or if you message O2 using the social media links below, they should be able to help you with this

Thanks for this speedy response. Really appreciated.
The networks I connected to manually only gave me a phone signal. No data.
thanks again

I had the same issue. Just switched from physical SIM to ESIM. I followed the instructions and removed the username and passwords. It worked immediately after going to airplane mode and back. Many thanks for the tip.
