Cannot use data abroad

I have not been able to use ny phone data abroad since the switch from virgin to 02 on my I phone for number  .I have tried everything and am tired of constantly contacting live support whilst on holidays .I read on a forum it could be something to do with APN not being switched as when in Greece it was on Idata not 02 .I really want this to be resolved as my bill was doubled by 02 as said my old plan couldn't be used abroad when did with virgin.

Some things to try:

Check data roaming is on in phone settings.

Manually search for another network

Turn off 5g

Change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk"

Check with O2 whether you have a roaming bar on your account. Do this via social media

If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (X)( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help.

I would also suggest you get a free swap to an O2 sim if still using your Virgin one.

Pop in store with photo ID when at home.
