Travel Bolton and standard roaming

Hi, I have seen a number of discussions on this topic but none of them give me a sense of clarity.

I am travelling outside of the EU zone (Montenegro) but I passing through the EU zone (Croatia). I believe I need the Travel Bolt on?

When I tried to add it, I received an alert to say that the standard EU rate bolt on will be removed.

So I have several questions:

What will happen to EU Roaming if I add travel bolt on?

If EU roaming continues, what exactly is the standard EU rate bolt on?

If it is just a glitch/hiccup as some previous posts have suggested, why can't it be fixed to remove confusion?

Thanks

Info on the rates and any bolt-on needed for Montenegro can be found here, @iCJim - Guide: Roaming MegaGuide.

As EU Roaming is standard, and needs no bolt-on, the message you are getting is a spurious one - and can be ignored. EU Roaming will be unaffected by adding the bolt-on as recommended for the non-EU zone countries you are visiting, detailed here: https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad

Thank you @pgn , I had found the various pieces of info but it just feels they are not properly linked somehow, I also feel this message should be fixable or explained better in o2's travel details, some of the posts asking about this are 2 or 3 yrs old, I am surprised it hasn't been sorted by now.

Thank you for giving a sense of clarity and assurance.
