Hi,
I have enabled spend cap at £0 / month extra (it shows as a bolt-on on my O2 account), but I can still make international calls.
I just let it ring and hang up to try - I don't want to actually call somebody and they pick up to find out that O2 cap doesn't work.
So what would happen? The call would be answered and then dropped and I would be charged £1?
Is there a call barring code (international calls) that I can use to bar international calls or I have to call customer services?
I have a 3 connection as well and I can enable spend cap online and I have the barring code (0000) to enable call bars. Why doesn't O2 follow standard practices? Call barring was introduced in 1992 with GSM...

You need to call customer service to have the international bar on your account.
Also ask them to place a bar on 'charge to mobile'.

I haven't done anything cause I haven't had the time.
I didn't get a reply on this:
So what would happen? The call would be answered and then dropped and I would be charged £1?
If the spend cap works as intented then I wouldn't need the call bar and then remove it again when I travel.
