Porting 02 Telephone number to new Orange EE account

Anonymous
Not applicable

Pac code was requested 02.08.14 and despite several attemps the number has still not been transferred Why.

My account is overdue by 12.30 which I am willing to pay as soon as you port this number and cancel my account with you as requested a month ago.

Your O2 account will be cancelled automatically once the port to Orange is successful. When that happens, O2 will send you a final bill, or deduct what you have left owing from your DD. You can't cancel until the number ports. You need do nothing else, but you need to chase Orange to find out why they haven't ported the number.

There have been other past posts citing problems either porting from or to Orange, so you're not the first, if that's any consolation to you.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

You need to remove all details as this is a public forum.
You also need to give the PAC to Orange as that is your responsibility, not O2's.

So you need to chase Orange. O2 can't release the number until Orange request it.

We've heard issues from Orange customers migrating to the O2 network before. Issues caused at oranges end. 😞

Hope a moderator removes your personal details soon or edit your post yourself to remove.(edit I see Toby has edited your post. slight_smile )

This one is O2 to Orange and I suspect due to an outstanding balance on the O2 account, bob....

Hi MI5

Yeah I was just trying to pit across that the usual Issue we come across is when someone is PAC codes over from orange to O2 not usually the other way round. slight_smile

Let's hope this is sorted as quickly as possible so the OP can move on.
