O2 Switch Up - Wrong Phone Help

Hi Everyone, 

 

A few weeks ago I traded in my Pixel 8 Pro for an IPhone 16 using O2 switch up. I added the IMEI number of the handset and o2 autofilled the phone details (it was switch up so the handset I was paying off my device plan with o2 for.) 

 

Completed the order, sent back my Pixel as per and have just received an email saying that they are revising the offer to £155 (£460 remaining device plan) as it’s not the phone they were expecting. They stated they were expecting the 256GB version and that mine is a 128GB. 

I'm just not sure how to reattack or how this has happened because its the exact phone I got though o2 that was on their system as my handset for the switch up.

 

Now I'm left with the old handset, the remainder of the device plan to pay plus a new iPhone.  

Any help with where to turn for this one? Thanks in advance.

Only via O2 unfortunately.
