Need to cancel...

Help! I've been in Australia for 6 months and my brother took over my contract until the cancellation date came up, which is now. Unfortunately, because I am over here with the time difference and the expensive calling rates, I need to do this online, however the chat never seems to be open (despite it's 7am over there now, so should have been open for 2 hours already) and I can't find an email address anywhere.

I will be back in the UK in April and will want to be back with o2 then so its not like I'm abandoning them.

Getting frustrated now though.

what can I do?

Hi.

You won't be able to cancel Via e mail but you may be able to ask for a call back.

https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help

Or use live chat.

http://www.o2.co.uk/mobile/contactus

Or write to them.

Add all the info needed to help them confirm who you are etc.

If you want to stay with O2 then ask for the monthly contract to be transferred to a Payg account as you then get to keep your number ,and then move it back to a monthly contract when your back in the uk.

If you agree anything via live chat then ensure you send a copy of the transcript to yourself for proof. (Just in case)

Just to add.

If you move your number to a Payg account make sure someone uses the sim card every 6 months to keep it live.
