Keeping my number

Hello, I have tried to keep my number from pay as you go to pay monthly as O2 have sent a new SIM. However it just says 405 not allowed? Anyone know what I've done wrong and how to remedy? Also I only have 17days until my next bill date, although I have only just set it up! I must have started paying from the day I requested a new SIM/pay monthly contract rather than when the SIM is activated, which seems a tad harsh. 😟

O2 will refund you for the days waiting for your sim.

You'll need to call customer service also to migrate your number if the website isn't working.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.
