So when I ordered by iPhone 7 at 10am on the 9th September (and paid £179.99 upfront which went out of my account the same day) I decided to sell my iPhone 6 to O2 Recycle straight away in order to get the best price available.
I was fairly confident in sending my phone to them inside the 14 day price guarantee window, however after receiving a text telling me that I now will not be receiving my phone tomorrow (despite being told twice today that I would but there was just a delay in sending the delivery confirmation texts) and that I "should" recieve it within the next 4 days. This takes me perilously close to the 14 day deadline, and bearing in mind that the text didn't say "will receive" it could even be longer than this.
So if I return late, through O2's fault and not mine, will they honour the price or will they reduce the payment? I see that the price has already gone down since Friday.

Contact o2 recycle and they will honour for another 7 days.
